Production Company Logo Design

To look more professional and realistic we knew that we had to make a production studio to do this. We originally thought of the idea of "RobShay Studios" as a combination of mine and my partner's name "Shayler" to try and make it personal.

When it actually came to our finished image we did not think it looked as professional as we had hoped, and it also didn't really have a very good sound to "RobShay Studios"

Our second design was "Glass House Productions" we got this idea from other production companies like Studio Canal and Red Hour Films, which don't appear to have any true meaning to their titles. For our design we used photoshop to crop the image and remove the background. We turned the image grayscale and changed the background to black to make it appear smart. It suits our opening film video too as it is dark as is our video so far.

In the end we decided not to use this as it did not fit in well with our music video, and from what we have investigated I have not seen any uses of film/music video production institutions.

AM Poster: Print Research

The official promo poster for AM is very simple.
It features the band logo, so that people will instantly recognise what the poster is for.
It also features the album artwork in the centre of the poster, this is useful, as it will ensure that anybody who sees the poster will be able to recognise the album in shops.
The rest of the text is in notes form, and not very detailed, this helps to get the point across without going into very much detail.
The small print states the band and record label's websites and the logo.
This poster is very simplistic, yet it is effective at capturing and audience’s attention. It continues the same theme that is seen on the album sleeve and also features the same sound wave line as is seen in the video Do I Wanna Know
