Final Product: Advertisement for Digipak

This is my finalised product of me digipak advertisement. Like the rest of my print products it is very simple and to make the products relate they have the same font and colour scheme of black, white and red. I have included the album artist, name and company. I also tried to endorse information such as ratings by magazines to raise interest in the album,  the media platforms in which the album can be accessed, the website of the band and the company that is producing the album. All of this and the date of release are a necessity for an audience as I believe I have been able to give them all of the information they could possibly need if they intend to purchase the album.
I chose upon a double white lined border as I had seen this done on the Florence and the Machine advertisement, the XX and on digipak covers like the Vaccines and the Black Keyes, I thought it drew attention to the centred image and would make my advertisement stand out from others. The image is a deep black and the streetlight is shone well on the girl to make her stand out more than anything else in the image, I chose the red against black idea from our original plan for the music video, as we were planning to have the girl in red whilst the rest of the video was black and white, although this did not work for the music video I have endorsed it in both of my print products so they relate to one another. Using the same girl from the music video, I think, gives it a direct link to the rest of the music video, even if her face is not visible.
The front cover of the digipak is very different to this poster design. I have tried to keep the black and white element throughout all three products and I believe the continuous use of the "Gloucestershire" font shows continuity between my products. I chose to use a digital alarm clock looking font for the release date as I think it appears like a countdown, or the time and with the title "AM" I think it relates well with the idea of time and clocks.
